Every summer, the Town provides a summer recreation program for kids in the community for six weeks. The program includes indoor activities, outdoor activities, sports, craft making, learning events and field trips. Schedule of activities is posted weekly. Located behind the playground at 50A Spencer’s Cove Road, this enclosed area is reserved for dog owners to allow their canines to run and play off-leash. The Town asks that you respect the rules of the dog park which are posted at the entrance.
Located at 34 Spencer’s Cove Road, the Community Centre is available to rent year-round for meetings and functions. The building has a kitchen and washrooms, folding tables and chairs. The Sliding Hill is located at 50A Spencer’s Cove Road between the playground and the outdoor rink. It is open to residents in the winter and can be used once there is enough snow for sliding.
